Privacy Policy

Pinelever is a one-person AI consulting business in Raleigh, North Carolina ("I", "me"). This page explains what I collect on this website and what I do with it.

What I collect

• What you type into the contact form: your name, an email address or phone number, what you write about your business, and whether you checked "OK to text me."
• Emails and texts you send me.
• Basic technical data our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes to deliver the site and block spam: IP address, browser type, and a bot-check token (Cloudflare Turnstile). I don't run advertising trackers or sell-your-data analytics.

Why I use it

• To reply to you.
• To prepare for a call or proposal you asked for.
• To keep a simple record of who I've talked to, so I don't contact you twice or after you've asked me to stop.

I only text you if you texted me first or checked "OK to text me." You can tell me to stop any time.

Who else touches it

I don't sell or rent your information, and I don't share it for anyone else's marketing. A few services I use to run the business process it for me:

• Cloudflare: website hosting, the form, spam protection
• Google Workspace: my email and the spreadsheet where I log inquiries
• Resend: sends the automatic "got it" confirmation email
• Telegram: a notification to my phone (through a private Telegram bot) so I see your message quickly
• Stripe: payments, if you become a client (I never see your full card number)

I may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How long I keep it

Inquiries that don't turn into work are deleted within 24 months. Client records are kept as long as needed for the work and for tax records. If you ask me to stop contacting you, I keep only your email or phone on a "do not contact" list so I honor that.

Your choices

Email hello@pinelever.com to see, correct or delete what I have about you, or to stop hearing from me. I'll take care of it within 30 days, usually much sooner.

AI tools

When you're a client, I may use AI services to do the work. I use business accounts whose terms say your data isn't used to train their models, and I don't paste your information into public tools.

Kids

This site is for businesses, not children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, I'll update the date at the top.
