Microsoft Copilot and ChatGPT training for Triangle teams
Quick answer: For ChatGPT training in Raleigh, I train small business teams and across the Triangle to use Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT on their real work, in person, at your office, using your own emails, documents and spreadsheets. Your people leave knowing what to use it for, what to keep out of it, and how to check its work.
A lot of offices already pay for AI and barely use it. Copilot may already be in your Microsoft 365, and half your team may be using ChatGPT on personal accounts. Training is how that turns into time saved instead of risk.
ChatGPT training in Raleigh, in person
Public ChatGPT classes and online courses teach the basics. A private session at your office goes further: your team practices on your own emails, documents and spreadsheets, so they leave with prompts that already work on their real job. I also train on Claude, Microsoft Copilot and Google Gemini, whichever your team uses.
Made-up example: an 8-person Raleigh insurance office
Staff were rewriting the same renewal reminders and coverage explanations every day. In a half-day session we built 6 reusable prompts on their real (anonymized) examples, set the account so client data stays out of training, and agreed on a checking rule. (Fictional office, made-up details.)
What we cover
- What you already have. We check which AI features your accounts include before anyone buys anything.
- Your real tasks. We use 5–10 examples of work your team repeats: email replies, meeting notes, reports, summaries, quotes.
- Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams (for Copilot) or ChatGPT for business with your own documents, whichever your team uses.
- The rules. Business accounts vs. personal ones, what never goes in (customer financial details, health information, passwords), and the data settings to check.
- The checking habit. AI drafts, a person decides. Numbers get checked against the source.
- A one-page cheat sheet for each person, with the prompts that worked on your examples.
Format
Half day or full day, up to 12 people, at your office anywhere in Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Apex, Chapel Hill, Wake Forest or Morrisville. Fixed price, quoted up front. One-on-one sessions work the same way.
What I can't guarantee
I can train your team. I can't force people to accept that. It sticks when leadership backs it and the team gets time to practice.
Common questions
Do you offer Microsoft Copilot training in Raleigh? Yes. In person, on your own Microsoft 365 emails and documents, for teams of up to 12.
Is ChatGPT training different from Copilot training? The habits are the same: clear instructions, your own context, and checking the output. I train on whichever tool your team actually has.
Is it safe to use ChatGPT or Copilot with business data? It depends on the account and settings. We go through which accounts to use, what never goes in, and which settings to check. More on AI and business data →
Which AI do you use? I prefer Claude at the moment. The field changes every few weeks, though, and a team that's comfortable in one tool gets more done than one that switches every time something new launches. So I set you up on whatever fits the software you already use, whether that's Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot or Google Gemini.
Where can I get ChatGPT training in Raleigh? I run private, in-person ChatGPT training for small business teams at their own office in Raleigh and across the Triangle. Community colleges and training centers also offer public classes.
How long does ChatGPT training take? A half day (about 3 hours) for most teams; a full day adds hands-on build time on your own tasks.
